This eight part series, takes us on an adventure through the Western Isles exploring how the weather has shaped the people and geography of these islands and how our livelihoods - and indeed our lives - depend on it. The islands are on the frontline of the weather so understanding the weather is vital to that coastal community.
The series explores a wealth of fascinating human stories through a mixture of expert comment, contemporary story telling and computer generated images, while aerial shots showcase the beauty of the islands.
Everyone experiences it. Everyone has a view on it. Everyone talks about it. It’s the universal story of the weather.
